Nintendo Ds Emulator For Psp

Japanese homebrew developer SofiyaCat has ported the Nintendo DS emulator DeSmuME to PSP. It’s extremely slow, so don’t expect it to run anything well, but it does prove DS emulation is possible on the PSP.

Above is a screenshot of the emulator running DS homebrew game GeoWars.

Even I suggest you to buy a Nintendo DS rather that looking for an emulator on it on hte PSP because a 'perfect' NDS emulator can never come on the PSP as the 2nd screen of the DS is a touchscreen while the PSP doesn't have the touchscreen feature.

Update: Here’s a guide on how to install DeSmuME, of course you must have a homebrew-capable PSP.

* Move the contents of the 150 folder contained in the archive to GAME or GAME150 on your memory stick.
* Download any DS homebrew game, GeoWars for example.
* Rename the game’s NDS file to test.nds
* Move test.nds to the 150 folder.
* Navigate to the Game menu on your PSP and start the emulator. The game will load automatically.

If you have a PS Vita or PSTV on firmware version 3.60 to 3.73, you can turn it into a decent emulation device by installing the HENkaku homebrew enabler. If you're on the 3.60 firmware, you can obtain it here, for 3.65-3.73 use Final h-encore. Those on firmware versions prior to 3.60 can update manually by following the instructions here. Furthermore, on versions 3.60 and 3.65 it's possible to use a bootloader patch called enso, which loads HENkaku automatically at boot: Ensō for 3.60, 3.65. It's possible to downgrade firmware version with a tool called modoru.
